JODOROWSKY HITS FREAKY FRIDAYS @ ACMI
26 Nov 2009
Always on the money for a cult weekend kickstart, the fine people at ACMI are screening Alejandro Jodorowsky's EL TOPO and THE HOLY MOUNTAIN as part of their off-beat Freaky Fridays. If you've never seen a Jodorowsky film on a big screen (from a beautiful remastered and uncut print mind you), prepare to have your mind blown open and your cinema psyche rearragned! 25 Nov 2009
Master of surreal film and spiritual superconductor Alejandro Jodorowsky recently spoke with The Guardian UK covering his unorthodox approach to film-making, the recent crop of pop acts influenced by his work, his friendship with Marilyn Manson and the current cinema zeitgeist. Mr Jodorowsy also drops a few clues as to the nature of his latest project. Check out the full article here!
