SAMURAI SEASON 6 DEVELOPMENTS

We've encountered problems with the source materials for the forthcoming season 6 FUMA NINJA CONTINUED story. The subtitles were a little sub-par, so we've gone back to the drawing board and are getting them corrected and checked for accuracy. Coz if you're gonna do something, it's best to do it right...right?! Nothing worse than a rush-job and these here Samurai stories deserve archival-care. Sometimes things are just out of your hands, though we apologise and assure you that this little bit of extra time will ensure that it hits the shelves the way it should look/sound/feel.

Apologies to all Samurai fans who are anxious to find out the whereabouts of the Hojo treasure, but please be assured that re-orders will still be reaching houses before stores.

In 1994, the anime scene in Australia was still in it's infancy. With no reliable local licensor of anime (imports of titles such as Macross and Appleseed on Pioneer were sometimes in excess of $50 with only a couple of episodes on a single VHS tape), and with SBS only very rarely screening a feature-length anime film ("Japanimation" they'd say), anime in Oz had a small - albeit RABID - cult following.
