END OF YEAR CONVENTION CAPERS
17 Oct 2011

More festivals to sound-off 2011 - this weekend sees Armageddon hit Melbourne. We'll be there with an extra long booth to accommodate all the new stuff we’re selling (Rooster Teeth comics, bags, posters and TONS of shirts), and our special guests - Jeff and Sandeep from The Guild and Bernie, Joel and Brandon from Rooster Teeth. Yep - it will be extra cramped at our booth, with the fellas signing just about anything you put in front of them (keep it clean). Once they’re done with Saturday's festival, the Rooster Teeth crew head across the road to the Roo Teeth Oz event at Kingpin Bowling for...um...bowling, Xbox, food and a private Q&A (if you can't make it, there's also a BBQ happening on Friday the 21st at Fawkner Park, South Yarra). Tickets are almost sold out to this exclusive event, so get in fast. Jeff and Sandeep will join the Rooster teeth guys at the Siren booth for Sunday before heading over with us to Auckland, New Zealand for the biggest Armageddon yet: five days of heavy NZ convention fandom. If you're one of our treasured Kiwi customers, drop by the booth and make us feel welcome. If not, please buy some things to lighten the return trip.

As if Armageddon isn't enough, the second Brisbane Supanova for 2011 lands November 4...and, yes...we'll also be there. Keep an eye out for Church and Sarge who will be skulking around for your photo-op pleasure! We'll be absolutely flattened by Sunday the 6th, so PLEASE be gentle with our fragile brains. We'll have free posters for Angel Beats!, The Guild, Red Vs Blue and Dennou Coil plus exclusive screenings of some of our upcoming anime titles. Oh - make sure you get along to the Siren panel for some hot-off-the-press anime announcements. We're doin' an OK job, huh?

NEKO NATION MELBOURNE - VENUE CHANGE
04 Oct 2011
Just a heads-up regarding this weekend's Neko Nation in Melbourne - the event is no longer happening at the Geddes Lounge, but has instead been moved to Abode - 374 St Kilda Road. We've also got two double passes to give away for this event...so if you're over 18 and looking for some fun this weekend (that's October 8, 9pm to 3am), email us at info@sirenvisual.com.au and tell us what 'neko' means in Japanese!
